The Maranatha Federation of Gypsy Associations, is an organization of 20 associations distributed throughout the Valencian Community. Their main objectives are the training of Roma people and the promotion of this ethnic group and its culture. Technical experts, peers and volunteers work in service of the member associations and also on the projects that these associations are currently implementing. Those projects are within wider programmes, such as eradication of school early leave / absenteeism, promotion of Roma women or provision of socio-labour mediation services. The Maranatha Federation is also in charge of the celebration of festivals, intercultural colloquiums, workshops and international seminars.

Maranatha Federation is recognized internationally for creating and leading the Web "Gypsy World" (www.gypsyworld.org), which is a reference of  work and the information of the Roma community, where  Laszlo Andor Viviane Reding, among others, have participated to communicate with the Roma community in Europe.


Main current activities we are doing:

From the of view educational and cultural point
-  Training programmes that provide us with a better tools for working in today’s society

From the technological point of view
-    The use of new Technologies as a way towards progress, communication, insertion, social participation and participation in Europe. The internet portal "Gypsy World" is the most important tool that we have developed.

From the political point of view
-    The active participation in the design and execution of policies that Government of the Valencian region are carrying out for the development, ethno-cultural promotion and assertion of our people.
