During the conference, on Saturday 12th of October 2013, a Symposium on the SEDRIN and TERNO Projects was presented as part of the Conference. The symposium presented part of the findings of the two funded project with the support of the European Commission, represented by the Education and Culture DG, within the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme; namely “School Education for Roma Integration” (SEDRIN 527611-LLP-2012-GR-COMENIUS-CMP Comenius Multilateral Projects) and “Teachers' Education for Roma New Opportunities in School” (TERNO 531091-LLP-1-2012-1-GR-KA1-KA1MPR).

The presentation and the presentation of the two projects raised awareness for the project inside the scientific community that attended the conference, as well as the local scientific community, and contacts were made with important stakeholders that could be able to implement the SEDRIN and TERNO methodology in Cyprus.
